Cap (Socket)
(11) Seal off the spigot ends of pipe or fittings by solvent welding Xirtec Schedule 80 socket end Caps.- Maximum service temperature up to 200°F (93°C) under pressure with occasional exposure to boiling water (212°F, 100°C).
- Design stress of CPVC is 2,000psi at 73°F (23°C).
- Xirtec piping materials requires less than half the energy needed to produce the equivalent size of carbon steel or steel alloy materials.
